• It makes noise. Like a large house fan Mine died within 2 weeks. Hopefully you saved the box, Best Buy refused to return mine without it.

• There is a fan noise, but the fan shuts off if the air fryer drawer is not in place. A safety feature.

• Does not make noise. You can hear the fan a bit. We loved it. We made wings, leg & thigh and fries. I do recommend it.
