“I just received mine. It claims that it's dishwasher safe but I don't think the actual grill can be put into a dishwasher as has electrical parts attached to it. Has anyone tried to clean it using a dishwasher?”

I only wash in the diswasher and yes i put the grill all the time in the dishwasher and works perfectly fine

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just remove the electrical component (plug), before dish or handwashing. It comes off. Don't dorry about the 2 metal prongs. As long as theyre dry before reconnecting the power plug you'll be fine.
