Is this real wood? null

This product is MDF, so it is a wood product, but is not made of solid wood planks, although it is crafted to have that appearance.

It sure feels like it. And the box weighs over 125lbs. It's quality, I'll just say that.

It has a decorative skin which on mine caught an edge and peeled a nice 4 inch piece off exposing a really nasty fabric like white under section. It’s on the heavier side but literally any tiny scratch will end up pure white and noticeable from across the room.
