Where do you put it. Does it have to be mounted? null

Test different places. Two-sided tape can mount it wherever you find it works best.

Mine is about 7 feet away from a window, but 2 feet away from an exterior wall. I mounted it on the wall, about 7 feet up from floor. Would rather have propped it on my dresser but cord wasn’t quite long enough.

I used double sided clear sticky gorilla tabs to attach to the window after trying it in three different places in my house to be sure of getting the best reception.

It says it comes with double face tape, but i didnt receive any. I used painters tape and taped it to an exterior wall to make it work. But most signals are too weak to watch because its only good for 35 miles.
