I didn't need to have access to a window. I have 2 of these. One is mounted behind my TV next to an exterior wall. The second is behind a TV mounted to an interior wall. I still get 40 or so channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Ours are on the walls 12 feet from a window and work great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. One of mine is in a bookcase and it works as well as my other two that are in windows. I suggest not putting it behind your TV due to the electronic interference and I also don't recommend putting it where it has to receive signals through a concrete or metal wall (like in a basement).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Window access is ideal but as long as you can put your antenna up to an outer wall of your building then you should be able to get adequate reception, depending on the distance to the channels transponder that your trying to recieve.
