This machine doesn’t use steam to clean. It is a rotating brush and water/detergent dispenser. The water can be any temperature you choose under 140 degrees according to the canister.

The wood floor formula is created for safe cleaning of wood floors. We do not make a polish that goes in the machine and do not recommend using any other chemicals in the machine.
