Will the brushes damage a Berber rug? null

While is rare because its different bristles then vacum but cut down any loops that are sticking up

I don't know. Try it on a small hidden area and see what you think before using it in the main walking area. The carpet in the room I cleaned (brother's room) was so dirty I have to basically clean it twice, but it worked.
