Hi Mike, The rack can be adjusted at three different positions. The picture here is not very clear. Hope it helps or I can post you a picture of my oven.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is only 3 placements - upper (near top), standard (2nd from bottom) and bottom-most rack. There's no placement for 'center', but since its default on 2nd from bottom, the food area is considered 'centered', depending on what you're cooking.
