“Do the cameras have motion detection to start recording?”

• Yes there is motion detection to start recording hence the infrared comment in my review (red light can be seen by some people). There is also a blue light that shows when the camera is recording but it can be toggled off in the settings of each camera.

• The Blink cameras, when armed can record clips based on motion detection only. They do not offer continuous recording though you can leave the system armed for motion detection for any interval of time.
