The Blink Indoor and Blink Outdoor cameras are battery powered. However the sync module needed to operate the cameras would need to be plugged into a normal wall outlet at all times and within 100ft of the cameras in any direction.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Two AA lithium batteries or you can buy a power cord to plug into outlet. It depends on what you set the camera on for sensitivity, picture quality, and how much the cameras use is for battery life. I would like to see how you can get two years battery life as advertised. I installed the camera on 03/17/2021 and since have used four sets of batteries. I do have settings maxed out for better performance. I am in the process of getting the power cord right now. Great camera in my opinion and would buy again, just buy the big package of batteries.
