The Blink Mini cameras when armed record clips based on motion detection only. You are also able to save live view sessions with the Blink Mini as well. The Blink Mini cameras do not offer continuous recording though you can leave the camera armed for motion detection for any interval of time.

Yes it saves as long as you have the free or the paid cloud service. They are coming with a wireless e storage unit
