Yes, and if your Wifi goes out for any reason, the cameras will not work and will need to be rest after the Wifi is working again.

Hi Coski! All Blink cameras require WiFi to work, so you'll need to make sure you have some way to connect to the internet wherever you're trying to set them up. As long as the network supports 2.4GHz connections you should have no issues, I've even set cameras up connecting via my phone's wireless hotspot to give demonstrations!
