I know nothing about the phone ringing when you go to your camera but it is a useful thing to that they send you a notice via blink ring or vibrate that your space has been invaded

If anything, you maybe receiving an alert from your camera about "Motion" being detected in a room where you've walked into. If you don't want to. receive this alert, then you'll need to go into your cameras settings & disable motion detection. Hope this helps.
