Hello, Sporty53! The Blink Outdoor 4 cameras have a range up to about 100ft (30m) from the sync module. It is more practical to say somewhere between 40 - 60 ft will provide a stronger signal from the sync module.They use a low-frequency radio signal to talk to the Sync Module (to wake up, check temperature, etc.), but they pass all video and live-view data over your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If a camera is 80 feet from the Sync Module but too far from your Wi-Fi router, it will fail to load. I hope this helps!
