Yes, we keep the sensitivity up high to increase chances of sensing motion. Lights do come in automatically if night time.

Both our Wireless Floodlight accessory as well as the Wired Floodlight Camera are able to be configured so that the light turns on when there is motion in the dark. You may also shut this off so that no light turns on, and the camera only uses its IR beam to record in the dark.
