Key points about the sync module: One sync module can support up to 10 Blink cameras It needs to be plugged into a power outlet and connected to your WiFi network It enables local storage options when you add a USB flash drive If you're adding a Blink Outdoor 4 to an existing Blink system, you can use your current sync module (Sync Module 2) - no need for an additional one Without a sync module, the Blink Outdoor 4 cameras cannot connect to your home network or the Blink app If you're buying a single add-on camera and don't already have a sync module, you'll need to purchase one separately for the camera to work. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Outdoor 4 Camera does require a Sync Module in order to operate and be added to an account. The only device which do not require a Sync Module are: Mini cameras, Video Doorbells and Wired Floodlight cameras.
