• I did not purchase the sync module bc I only have the doorbell camera. Without it, if you are wanting to add more cameras in the future, you will eventually need to purchase the sync module. I am so happy with the performance, I should have purchased the module with mine, while it was on sale. I hope this helps answer your question.
