• 2 double A batteries is needed for wireless. It can connect to WiFi

• The Blink Video Doorbell does need an always-on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with an upload speed of at least 2Mb per second. If the available bandwidth is too low, you may receive intermittent Live View, or clips that take a long time to load.
