• You may want to consider the larger version of this mic (blue yeti) which has omnidirectional capabilities. Meaning, the mic is capable of picking up sounds in all directions. This nano version will be good if the bad is directly in front of the mic or bidirectional. The sound quality is amazing though so I’d still recommend it anyway.

• I was wondering the same thing for my exercise class. Yeah the regular Yeti. The bigger one has a few more modes.

• For instrumental recording we would recommend stepping up to the Blue Yeti as it has Stereo capture capabilty.
