You'd want to get Apple's Lightning to USB camera adapter. This gives you a USB port and your iPhone will recognize the mic as an external mic. If your iPhone doesn't have an old style speaker jack though you also have to be concerned about feedback though. They have the straight lighting to USB adapter only, but also one that provides you another lightning port for power or for a headset device.
