“How does the "electrostatic" work? Does it produce any ozone?”

• It uses an ionizer per Blueair support team. My wife is extremley sensitive to ionizer air purifiers. We found this out the first night we used a blueair purifier. Returned it the next day. Research filters that use ionizers. I personally will never own one again. I wouldn't have bought the first one but Blueair's description makes one think their filters are regular hepa filters.
