We recommend vacuuming and machine washing it as needed. The main filter includes a smart replacement indicator that lights up red when it’s time to change. Our RealTrack algorithm also calculates filter life based on usage, fan speed, and air quality. For 24/7 use, we suggest replacing the filter every 6-9 months. You can also use the Blueair app for notifications* and easy reordering of replacements.

• I vacuum the outside cover when I think of it, and I believe the filter is supposed to be replaced every 6 months, depending on use.
