Im curious if this product self cleans. Nowhere in the description does it say whether or not you have manually clean or if it self cleans. Also curious about the frequency of cleaning thats recommended. null

It doesn't self clean. You have to manually clean it. Frequency would depend on how much long hair gets caught under it and I guess how dirty of a place you live in.

I agree with the other answer. It self empties however the rollers etc need cleaning and if you have pet hair it will likely clog which will need cleaning. Still a good value when it’s on sale.

I have the Bio and it self-empties on it's own, you will still need to clean the rollers and filters when necessary but it will dock and empty on it's own

After vacuuming it empty’s itself. But you do have to clean the other parts periodically like the vacuum bag, hair that gets caught in the roller, etc just like a normal vac.

yes it self cleans into a bag inside the base that eventually has to be emptied

Self-cleans, not sure what you are asking. It does self-empty when returned to charging station. You then have to empty the bag in the charging base when it fills. I also have to manually clean the roller brush, edges, and vacuum opening when excess lint accumulates.

You can set the frequency to the function where the dock will suck out the contents of the vacuum. It says the size of the bag in the dock will last several weeks, but that of course depends on the usage and the cleanliness of the floor.
