“Is there really no way to view the display that shows the time remaining in the cycle without opening the door? Seems like an odd design choice.”

• Yeah, the dishwasher works great, and the red floor light tells me that it's running, but nothing else (like when it will be finished). I guess I've just never seen a dishwasher that you can only turn on with the door open. (I am the OP.)

• Who cares about the time remaining...load it, start it, forget about it! Its doing all the work for you....relax! Unless you can't wait to unload it!
