Can this model be hardwired or is it plug in only? null

Hi Ralph, thank you for your question. Model:SHPM65Z55N does include a direct power cord with plug. However, if you would like to hardwire, you will need to purchase our Junction Box with Power Cord, #SMZPCJB1UC.

Mine came only with the hard wire installation box that has the special plug that connects to the dishwasher. Easy. Unlike the Bosch answer earlier, it did not come with a cord that would fit in an electrical outlet.

Either way For hard-wire check with qualified electrician

They sold the hardwire adapter kit with the dishwasher, pretty easy to use.
