I finally installed the Bosch. Shocker, Best Buy provides at no charge a box for installing a direct wire hook up. It is a separate box from the dishwasher. However, inside the the dishwasher, Bosch already has the 3 prong plug cord for connection to existing outlet. No one seemed to know that. So Best Buy, if not other merchants, provides both means of hook up.
