Hi Powersurge, thanks for your interest in model B36FD50SNS. This fridge must be connected to a power supply with alternating current only via a correctly installed socket outlet with grounding. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got an electrician to install a whole house surge protector at the electrical panel. So I don‘t have a separate one for refrigerator, but otherwise I would. I think FPL also will do this at the panel but then charges a monthly fee.
