- Answer Use the regular power cord it comes with and I wouldn’t hard wire it. That way if you need to service the machine you can just unplug it

QuestionWas w new dishwasher in a rental unit. After 1 or 2 uses the dishwasher won’t turn on. I pull dishwasher out un plug it and re insert plug. Connections are tight. Works a couple of times and then same thing all over.this has happened 3x in 15 days???

- Answer From my experience, and after researching online, it is the connector box supplied with your purchase. Mine dishwasher kept shutting frequently for about 4 month until last night 11/10/21, the connector box caught fire and shut my dishwasher down. Please do not wait, get that off your dishwasher. - Answer I removed the box and (hard-wired) connected it to the old one. I made sure to seal the wires well.

- Answer Just use the power cord. You only use one or the other depending upon the available installation wiring.

- Answer I called Bosch and they answered my questions. Of course, it took a while to find the number on line, and unfortunately I do not have my phone records. Whoever sold you the diswasher should have a valid phone number for Bosch.

QuestionDoes a "dedicated outlet" mean I can no longer plug in my disposal in the same circuit as the dishwasher? Currently they plug in side by side. Will I have to run another electrical line to use a Bosch???? This makes no sense.

- Answer Code does NOT require two boxes nor two circuits. Disposal and dishwasher is often on the same circuit.

QuestionWhy does this Bosch junction box need to be installed in an adjacent cabinet. My old whirlpool dishwasher is hardwired and the junction box is in the dishwasher enclosure. New Bosch series 300 model has no heating element so heat should not be a problem.

- Answer Bosch dishwashers have a plug receptacle in the rear that runs to a junction box, instead of being wired directly, and the junction box is rather large. Mine would not sit all the way back in the cabinet when I tried to slide it in place, and ended up moving it to an adjacent cabinet so it would fit correctly.
