• I chatted with a Best Buy Rep and YES .. They are compatible. and can be used with the Wave System.

• Thanks for your question. The Companion 2 Series III speakers cannot be used in conjunction with your Wave Music System. While there is a headphone output on the Wave Music System, connecting an external device such as headphones or these speakers would mute the Wave system. Thank you.
