How do you hook the speakers up to your cell phone null

As long as your cellphone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, you can connect a 3.5 mm auxiliary audio cable from your phone to the "AUX IN" port of the Bose product. This is located on the back of the right speaker of the Companion 2 Series III Multimedia Speaker System. Hope this helps! Jesse - Bose Support

The same as you would a pair of headphones. The connector is the same.

not sure. I plugged them into the earphone jack on a laptop and it gave me the option to use it for the speakers and it worked.
