“I would like to use these for my home pc/monitor as well as a side record player with rca inputs (with aux adapter), is this possible? Can these be hooked up at the same time and use one or the other as needed? With Aux input, will both speakers work?”

Only one of the speakers (Right) has a single Aux-in outlet. If you're looking for something with decent sound and volume level for your side record player, I would spend more money. These are not for you. The right speaker supplies sound and power to the left speaker via a cord. The left cannot be used independently of the right but the Right can be used as a solo speaker. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You might be able to do that as long as it is getting one signal. You can buy a splitter and connect both wires from 2 sources in that splitter and splitter is connected to speakers.
