“I have the Bose companion sound system and Sounddock and lost audio cable I lost the cable that I use to plug into my iPod. I've tried to use other audio cables but they don't work. I have to use a cable to play my iPod on the soundlink because the dock connector on the system is lose and doesn't work most of the time. Which cable do I need to buy and from who Apple? from Best Buy? didn't see cables for sale on Bose website?”

Best Buy should have either of the 2 cables that you need. If you need the cable that plugs into the bottom of your Apple device for the docking station, those should all be in-store. In addition, if you are in need of the 3.5mm audio cable that plugs into the headphone jack, Best Buy will have those, too. If you only need playback, and not simultaneous charging, you can plug the auxiliary line cable into the right "line-in" port on the Companion 5 control module/volume.
