“I have an LG 55LH90 TV. It does not have Bluetooth. Is there a device that I can buy that will enable me to use these headsets with my TV WITHOUT needing a long cable connecting the headset to the TV? Thanks.”

Buy a roku and plug the headphones up to the remote. It's what I'm doing now as I type this answer. There is a Roku app for smartphones that you can connect to your phone and app by bluetooth. The tv I'm using now doesn't have bluetooth so I use the roku remote. My tv in the livingroom has bluetooth capability and these work great, good connection.
