• No, the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer cannot be connected to just any soundbar. While it features a 3.5 mm port, it uses a proprietary Bose signal designed only to hardwire with select, compatible Bose soundbars (like the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar or Bose Smart Soundbar 700). It is not compatible with other brands or third-party soundbars

• The Lifestyle Ultra Wireless Subwoofer is compatible with the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar. It is also backwards compatible with previous soundbars when used via wired connection. It is not compatible with third-party, non-Bose soundbars.
