• In my opinion, the Bose noise-cancelling Headphones are the best at silencing background noise such as the jet engine noise you would normally hear while inside the cabin of an airplane. They are pricey, but well worth it if you fly often.

• Exactly why we purchased them. Amazing how block out engine sounds, but if someone asks me a question can still hear. Watch movies on iPad. Used to use earbuds, but hard to hear, now, no problem.
