• I haven't had this problem, while using it via my iPhone. I do know that they are Apple compatible, so if you're trying to use the speaker control on the cord, while plugged into say a non-Apple laptop, it won't work. I only say that because when I use it while it's plugged into my Lenovo laptop, that function won't work. I just control the volume via my laptop. But it works fine when connected to my iPhone. Hope this helps!
