they work with anything. Sound is heard by waves causing different vibrations in your eardrum which depends on the frequency, and what the noise canceling does is, it will send a similar frequency as your surrounding sounds to nullify as much as it can. thus, it'll block out any sound except when you are talking cause that'll vibrate through your body
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can definitely help. Buy them; if they don't do the job for you - return them!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do have a problem hearing my husband talking when he comes into the room where I am working, so it would dull everything outside. I had these on and was able to work while a company was cutting down trees right outside my window. I could still hear them working but that is how much it dulls things, especially mechanical items like mowers, blowers, AC, and your computer. If this occurs while you are trying to sleep though it is tough to keep headphones on your head and sleep. I have better luck having an air cleaner next to my bed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I have kids as well and my big kid neighbors voices/ coughing up a lung sounds that make it passed the walls is eliminated for the most part. I would buy them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use these mostly when flying and they cancel most voices. There are occasional voices that slip through at times, but if I have music playing I can't hear any voices at all, even on a noisy airplane. Also, I use them to block out my own kids voices when working at home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think if they drown out screaming kids on a flight, that they'd help with your obnoxious neighbors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if the noise is continual, like a motor humming, then yes, mostly. If it is a TV show, you will hear some light voices. If it is screaming, then you will hear it if is close. So, if I'm going to be specific, I'd say that the headphones always "reduce" noise, sometimes "nearly eliminate" white noise (like an airplane engine hum or noise that is at a consistent, continual volume---screaming is not as it goes up and down) and the headphones will "amplify" the sounds coming out of your device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it would cancel out those noises that you are hearing outside. There is a train that goes by and I don't hear it when I have my headphones on. And I can't hear voices if they are talking in the other room. If someone is right next to me -- sometimes I can hear "some" of what they are saying, but typically have to remove my headphones to hear them. I haven't used these on a plane ride yet, but look forward to using in May when I travel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product blocks my kids in my house , so I know it will block out your neighbors. Just keep a spare AAA battery for when you need it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on my son's use of the headphones they have excellent noise cancellation. Generally we have to approach him to get his attention while he is using the headphones. Good luck.
