“How a thunder clap is heard through the QC35s? I read unfortunately that ANC range can't cancell all loud noises (to certain decibel and frequency level), but the headphones have a passive isolation with the earpads. Loud music or white noise can help?”

Hello JGS1995, thank you for your question. You are correct. Though the technology is fantastic, it does have limits. Where the active noise canceling reaches its limits you still have the passive attenuation provided by the ear cushions. The technology of Noise Cancelling is not able to cancel out short loud bursts of sound. It doesn't matter if you buy a 20$ pair or a 2000$ pair, its the technology, not the headphones. Noise Cancelling is designed to constant noises such as plane engine, humming washer, fan blades, etc.
