That would absolutely be a hardware issue which would be covered under warranty. Within 15 days of purchase bestbuy will just replace it. If you got geek squad they will just replace it, you just have to buy geek squad protection again. Either way this should be covered as a hardware failure buy Bose. I would probably call bestbuy first to see what they recommend, but it will be covered
