You can adjust the volume on the right earbud. While it does work it seems to be a bit buggy to me. The same goes for the ability turn off the noise cancellation which is done from the left earbud.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn't work. It just summons the confuser built into your phone. You can't control the volume except through your phone, and you can only program 1 shortcut function on the left ear. So you can choose between "next song", "last song", and a few other less useful functions. These are definitely not streamlined for ease of use. They are confusing, and buggy at best.
