• I could not find a way to go back; could only go forward. Nor did I find a way to control the volume.

• There is only skip forward capability, not back, and there is no volume control on the earbuds either.

• The QuietComfort Earbuds feature touch controls on the earbuds. The controls can be customized to skip-forward a track. You cannot currently use the controls to adjust the volume. However, the volume can be adjusted directly on your connected phone, or by using the Bose Music app.
