• Yes and no. If you want to use just one it MUST to be the right side.

• You will be able to use the right earbud on its own, however this isn't possible with the left earbud.

• They’re probably like the sound sport free earbuds. The left one can be put into the charging case but once the right one is they deactivate. If they want to keep up with Apple AirPods Pro they’ll have to be similar in that you can you any given earbud at a time

• you can use the right or left. I almost didn't buy them because I like to use the left one for driving. turn off the auto mute/stop sensor in the Bose app then you can listen to the right or left. I used them on a 8 hour trip yesterday and put the one I wasn't using in my shirt pocket. you will lose some controls but I would just reach in my pocket and use the control.

• No matter what settings I turn on or off, if I put the right bud in the case AND close it, my buds disconnect from Bluetooth on my iPhone. If I put the left one solo in the case and close it, the right one will stay connected via Bluetooth. Looks like the right one truly is the master, quite the shame, as I like to one ear it while walking. To confirm I've turned all the auto play / detection off. Anyone else have something to dispute this ?

• I am wondering the same thing. I didn't buy the Sennheiser MTW2 as they use the master and slave setup instead of using the independent bud connection that the Sony WF-1000XM3 or airpods use.
