Correction to my first answer, I must not have had the right bud fully in the case which was right in front of me when I test this the first time, but my wife was able to hear me. I’ve tried multiple time since and You can hear on the left bud but the other party cannot hear you

No. The microphone is in the right earbud. You will hear audio in both earbuds on a phone call, but you cannot use just the left bud for a call.

You can use both earbuds when on a call.

You can use either earbud with the other still in the case. The only disadvantage tomus8ng the left is you lose the touch controls for Siri on the iPhone and the ability to use touch controls to answer/end calls
