A:AnswerBy design the default single earbud is the right one only, which also has the phone mike. But if you can put up with only 20 minutes of playing; the right earbud can remain in its case with either lid open, or the right earbud can be out, (and kept in range) but in 20 minutes it will enter the standby mode. Keeping the right bud active is out of case but near it.(still 20 minutes only) Another tested noted that he didn’t have any drop-out reception problems at all. (No phone in left earbud.
A:AnswerWe did purchase this item but the only issue we had was people receiving phone calls got a lot of background noise. If you purchase to just listen to music, great buy.

A:AnswerThat would absolutely be a hardware issue which would be covered under warranty. Within 15 days of purchase bestbuy will just replace it. If you got geek squad they will just replace it, you just have to buy geek squad protection again.
Either way this should be covered as a hardware failure buy Bose. I would probably call bestbuy first to see what they recommend, but it will be covered
A:AnswerNo, in order to listen on Xb1 (or PS4) the headphones must have a wired connection through a USB port or headphone jack and the only current Bluetooth paring headphones used for consoles (Xb1, PS4) are connected through a USB Bluetooth connector stick.
