I work at a manufacturing plant with lots of machinery noise so noise cancellation is top of the list.
Sometimes I would listen to music, sometimes not and looking for just quiet.

I have the 21 version and they work great in factories.  Minimizes about 80% of the noise without any music playing.  With music you can't hear any of the factory noise.

Our headphones are not rated for ear protection, and should not be used as a replacement for ear defenders.
