Can I use these as headphone for music as well null

No, they have their own library. To play music would kill the battery too fast. To keep it small enough and get over 8 hours of battery they keep it more simple.

No, must use app and sounds on it only.

They are only able to play the sounds from the Sleep App. This is to ensure a full nights use from a single charge.
