Q: QuestionDoes this block against music blasting from outside my window? As soon as it is warm outside a group of people stand and sit infront my window to blast music insanely loud. I need to know this will block out their loud music. Please help!
Asked by Ken.
- A:Answer That may depend on how loud the music is and how loud you're willing to make the sounds from these. My partner snores, sometimes loudly, right next to me. I tend to keep these at a fairly low volume, but they usually do enough that I can get to sleep. I've also been trying different sounds to see which block the "frequency" of the snoring, since that is the sound range I most want to block.

Q: QuestionDoes the Bose 90 day return guarantee count if purchased at Best Buy?
Asked by Judy.
- A:Answer I don't think so. Best Buy does not have Geek Squad coverage for this item and the sales person told me I had 14 days to return.

Q: QuestionSo, if I only want to use these as earplugs with a built-in alarm - would they work well? I want the noise-canceling, but not necessarily the sounds to put you to sleep - just the alarm. I like dead silence. Thanks!
Asked by Jay.
- A:Answer I don’t think this will work for you. They work with the library and do not completely block sounds on their own. It’s muffled, but I can still hear some between putting them on and hitting “play.”

Q: QuestionDo any of the white noise sounds include binaural beats where different frequencies are played in each ear to promote deep sleep?
Asked by Scout.
- A:Answer No. Each sound you select will play in both ears at the same time and same volume. There is no customization.

Q: QuestionMy wife has found that regular earplugs give her an ear infection. Do these do a better job?
Asked by Snorer.
- A:Answer Hmm - can't say but the interface to your ear are the standard rubber "cups". They do not go into your ear canal that far and I have to assume ear plugs, which do not have the benefit of the electronic noise cancelling and production of other sounds, would need to go much deeper to form the seal to block out sound. With that said, everyone's skin is different and sensitivity to various materials, etc. I would think if she tried them, and used a non-destructive cleaning solution on the rubber "cups" after each use, she would be fine. Assuming the pc answer is to have her check with her doctor to find out what material she is sensitive to first...
