• I have DIRECTV and I could not get it to program so that I could use my remote from Direct TV to control both the Bose speaker and the TV. Even though that is a huge inconvenience for me personally the speakers are great. Bose does include a universal speaker in the box which you can program to work the speakers and your TV

• No. At least not the Verizon Fios remote.
