NO. It doesn't have the call option. Atleast I cant hear the call and it goes to headset when a call is received/ made.

You cannot answer your phone with the speaker but you will know your phone has rang when the speaker starts to play again. I use mine while doing yard work so I'm nowhere around the speaker or phone.
