“Hi BOSE support , you recommend a power block that is 5 vDC, 0.5 A (1 A recommended) since you no longer include power blocks with the speaker purchse. but I may need to return this as i cant find any power block that says that on it . Other options?”

I use a regular IPhone charger and have no problems. Source Voltage Power PC USB 5 volts 2.5 Watts iPhone Charger 5 volts 5 Watts iPad Charger 5.1 volts 12 watts

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Kat, That is the recommended power rating for charging. You can absolutely use other chargers that do not match this. If it's more powerful, the speaker will only draw the required amount of power, if it's less powerful, the speaker will just take longer to charge.
